WWG Liquefies Waters Tour - May 2000

For, In the Flesh part two, Wynne Willson created what he describes as a 'Fried Slide' system with small bubbles, immiscible liquids and saturated colours so that coloured liquids 'boiled' across a giant screen behind Waters during his performance. To ensure some consistancy of appearance, as far as it is possible with such an organic effect, WWG provided a semi-automated system to enable a competant operator to manage the delivery of the images at showtime.

Wynne Willson attended Production Rehearsals taking place in Calverton Naval Base in New York state, at the end of May to train and encourage the lighting crew in the unusual aspects of liquid light technology. The tour will climaxed with a two night concert at Madison Square Garden in mid July.

Lighting designer for the tour was Simon Sidi and set design was provided by Jonathan Park, the shows were produced by Sensible Events.
