Receives EDDY Award, December 2001 Catalyst, a WWG development for High End Systems, recently received a top honour for lighting products at the 10th Anniversary of the EDDY Awards in New York, hosted by Entertainment Design magazine.

ceremony at John Jay College Theatre, in New YorkTo recognize technical
advancement in the fields of professional lighting Here's what the editors said about Catalyst: "The worlds of lighting design and projection design merge in this intriguing system co-developed by High End Systems and Wynne Willson Gottelier. Designed to provide real-time control of every aspect of an image directly from a lighting console, the Catalyst features a periscopic, orbital transmission device that can adapt to the front of any large-venue, three-chip DLP projector, plus a software package containing a variety of moving and still imagery and gobos. Lighting Designers for concerts, sporting events and other large-scale projects are drooling over this one." The is the fourth award for Catalyst. It won two top awards at PLASA in September for Design Excellence and Technical Innovation, and Product of the Year for Lighting/Entertainment at LDI 2001 in November. Catalyst has been seen on the Faithless European tour recently and at the Capital Christmas Live concert at Earls Court. It is currently making its icy debut this season at New York's Madison Square Garden for the New York Knicks and the New York Rangers games.
