WWG was founded in 1983 by Peter Wynne Willson and Tony Gottelier, their original aim was to bring together a group of talented individuals dedicated to the art and science of entertainment lighting. While lighting was the genesis, and continues to be the driving force, rapid developments in associated technologies have brought a range of skills within the company's ambit.

Today, the company routinely manages entertainment projects for cruise and ferry operators, for leisure companies and private entrepreneurs, as well as providing product innovation for the concert and touring market and for performance lighting manufacturers. WWG is also providing original concepts for family attractions with a basis in audio-visual entertainment using cutting edge technology.

The company administration, design and development office under Peter Wynne Willson is in Middle Barton near Chipping Norton Oxfordshire, with a prototyping facility in Derbyshire.

WWG owns a number of patents, most of which are specific to lighting technology and used in luminaires and devices manufactured by others. Including the RazorHead moving searchlight, designed to bring power and sophistication of movement into the market for entertainment searchlights.

From blank sheet of paper to profitable entity, WWG make it happen.
